Micro Skin Needling

Micro Skin Needling Micro skin needling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure designed to resurface and improve the quality of your skin.

Micro needling uses a skin needling pen with small micro needles that glide across the skin surface, penetrating the superficial layer of the dermis creating small channels. This treatment is minimally painful and feels like a scratching sensation.

Micro needling is often provided as a stand alone treatment, however it’s best use is in the delivery of additional medicines or products such as stem cells, NCTF Hyaluronic Acid, peptide, amino acids, antioxidants for accelerated results and faster healing.

Benefits of Skin Needling: Stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for the skin’s strength, elasticity, and youthful appearance.

Wrinkle Reduction: Increasing collagen and elastin production can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Scar Improvement: Micro needling can improve the appearance of scars, including acne scars and surgical scars, by promoting collagen, which remodels the skin through cellular regeneration.

Skin Tightening: The procedure can lead to skin tightening, helping to reduce sagging or loose skin. Improved Texture: May enhance skin texture by minimising roughness, large pores, and uneven skin tone.

Optional Treatment Add On’s
To enhance and maximise the results of skin needling the application of high potency additives are used in the skin needling treatment. Once the micro channels have been created topical application of these ingredients are able to penetrate through the open channels directly into the deeper dermis of the skin. This provides the benefit of the ingredients being administered under the skin surface where they are better absorbed.

Option 2. Exosomes

Exosomes are small nano-sized vesicles that are produced and released by cells in the body. Exosomes contain a variety of molecules including proteins, RNA (ribonucleic acid), lipids (fats) and other bioactive substances.

Once exosomes are secreted outside a cell they play a crucial role in cell to-cell communication with the ability to transfer information and change the behaviour of neighbouring cells. The benefit of this, is that when trauma is induced in the skin through micro needling, the repairing mechanism our cells under go is rapidly increased, providing accelerated and noticeable results.
